Helping those wounded by abortion – whether the parents of the aborted child, the grandparents, other family members, friends, medical personnel, etc. – is the primary function of A Safe Place Abortion Recovery Center (ASPARC). We believe it is only through Jesus Christ that complete healing is obtained from a past abortion experience, however our goal is not to force our religious beliefs upon anyone. In addition to healing programs, A Safe Place Abortion Recovery Center was established to educate others in the area of proven abortion recovery techniques, applications, and accurate information in order to prepare and empower others to carry on the much-needed work of abortion recovery. Our educational programs also provide information for professionals faced with ongoing contact with abortion-minded individuals. Our goal is to educate these professionals on the detrimental effects of abortion so they can best advise those seeking counsel on this difficult issue. Each ASPARC staff member has been trained specifically in the area of abortion recover, has a significant level of experience and is qualified in peer coaching. A Safe Place will provide educational opportunities for the following:
Raising awareness for A Safe Place Abortion Recovery Center is threefold. First, we are committed to raising awareness that abortion hurts everyone it touches. Second, we are committed to informing the public of some of the more common detrimental effects of abortion in order to help them make the connection between their emotional suffering and the abortion experience that is at the root of their pain. And third, we raise awareness about the fact that although abortion hurts, there is hope for healing at A Safe Place Abortion Recovery Center. Awareness is raised through various publicity and advertisements, radio, television and Internet interviews, video presentations, ASPARC newsletter articles,billboards, brochures, pamphlets, posters and other print product.
A Safe Place Abortion Recovery Center’s staff creates original resources written out of their years of training and experience in abortion recovery. Each of our resources are written with the mission, vision and goals of A Safe Place Abortion Recovery Center in mind, with a commitment to excellence as well as to the specific needs of the recipient. A Safe Place Abortion Recovery Center is also available to assist reputable pro-life research organizations in their search for valuable information aimed at providing accurate studies and statistics pertaining to those affected by abortion.
A Safe Place Abortion Recovery Center’s abortion recovery model is based on the Facilitating Biblical Healing model written by Judy Cooter, Carolyn Rice and Jeannie Stoner.
