Welcome to A Safe Place

A young woman If you are visiting this page, the probability is that you have been touched by an abortion sometime in your life. If you are struggling with the after-effects of an abortion such as feelings of loss, grief, guilt or regret, or recurring nightmares, depression, thoughts of suicide, relationship problems, attempts to numb your pain through the use of drugs, alcohol, sex, or food, you have come to the right place.

We are here to provide you compassionate, non-judgmental understanding and hope for healing, peace and restored joy in your life. We aren’t miracle workers. We aren’t professional counselors. But we have experienced firsthand what you are going through and we have come out on the other side... We have found peace again and we want to help you find it as well.

A Safe Place Abortion Recovery Center is for anyone and Concerned man everyone touched by abortion – the aborted mother, father, grandparents, aunts and uncles, siblings, friends, clergy and medical staff. Abortion hurts everyone it touches and we are here to help whatever your situation – whether you encouraged the abortion, resisted the abortion, or had no knowledge of it until after the fact.

The result of every abortion is loss. It is a loss unrecognized by much of society, but one that is potent, real and valid. This loss creates a wound that will not heal on its own. While the pain may come and go to greater or lesser degrees, and although you may be able to stuff it deep inside for a time, for most people it resurfaces, sometimes within five to fifteen years or as much as forty years after the abortion.

A Safe Place Abortion Recovery Center is here for you. We care. We want to help.

The HEART of A Safe Place focuses on five critical areas of post-abortion ministry.
